Kedleston Hall situated near Derby will be the venue for our Register gathering on Saturday, 10th September.
We are expecting over 400 Porsches to be with us on the day and very much look forward to seeing you at this beautiful Derbyshire venue. The event will be a relaxed one and represents a chance for the Club to get together outside of a race-circuit type environment.
The nature of the gathering means there won’t be the same type of attractions and infrastructure as the Club had at Silverstone and the event will have a very different feel.
To help you enjoy and make the most of your day, shown below are some points which we hope you find useful:
Start time and location
The venue will be open from 10am and the address is: Kedleston Hall, Near Quarndon, Derby, Derbyshire, DE22 5JH.
Parking
The grass area immediately outside the gates of the Hall itself will be designated Porsche parking, with marshals on site to direct you to an appropriate space. Ordinarily this land is used to graze sheep and it is important that you know that there may still be some animals within these sections when you arrive at the venue. If this concerns you, then please make a Porsche Club marshal aware and you will be directed to the general car park area which is away from the animals.
Because of the way the land is used, there will be, naturally, some sheep droppings on the ground. Again, if this is something you’d prefer to avoid then please let a marshal know and they will direct you to the hard-standing parking area.
Also, if the weather is inclement, all parking will be on the hard-standing general parking area of which there is plenty.
Access to the Hall
Porsche Club members will be able to tour the Kedleston Hall building free-of-charge on the day. In order to do this members will need to register in the main Club marquee and on receipt of a membership card a wristband will be provided. You will not be permitted access to the Hall without a Porsche Club wristband so please do ensure you bring your membership card to the event.
Club marquee and partners
A modestly sized Club marquee will be constructed within which there will be seating and selected items from our Members’ Collection. Free coffee will not be available at this event but refreshments can be purchased from the on-site café.
Lockton Insurance and Oracle Finance will have a small presence on the grass area in front of the Hall with representatives on hand to discuss any questions you may have about their respective products.
