BOOK TICKETS

With the largest Club presence at the show, we’ve selected some of our anticipated highlights to help you plan your weekend.

Infield Porsche parking
Members who booked using Silverstone’s early bird ticket offer will have now been sent a blue infield pass to display their Porsche within the Club’s dedicated parking area. There is also a selection of Register parking to highlight the marque’s diverse range.

Wellington Straight Grandstand
Porsche Club members can watch the racing from the well-positioned Wellington Straight Grandstand. This premium viewpoint can only be accessed via the Club marquee so please have your membership card ready in order to gain access.

Driving at the Porsche Experience Centre - SOLD OUT
There are just a handful of driving slots remaining for our 30 minute sessions at the Porsche Experience Centre on Saturday, 30th July. Costing £70, each session includes 30 minutes in the latest generation 911 on Porsche’s purpose built tracks.

Club hospitality
Relax and refuel in the Porsche Club marquee with freshly ground coffee available for Club members. There will also be Porsche Club information point on-site to answer any of your queries as the weekend progresses.

Parade Lap
On Saturday, 30th July we will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of Porsche’s transaxle range with a parade lap paying homage to the 924, 944, 968 and 928. This will take place during the lunchbreak between racing, which starts at 1.10pm. The Porsche Club parade will also feature the Boxster, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary as well as the Cayman as we extend a warm welcome to the new 718 variants.

Porsche Cars GB
Porsche will have a fantastic presence at Silverstone Classic alongside the Club. The record breaking 919 Hybrid will be on pole position alongside a mouth-watering array of current and classic models. These are to include the 16 freshly revitalised transaxle cars competing to win the 2016 Porsche Classic Restoration Competition, fronted by the 1980 924 Carrera GTP which underwent a complete renovation in just six months.

Members’ Collection
We will be bringing the full range of our Members’ Collection items to Silverstone so you can shop at your leisure. With everything from caps to posters, the Members’ Collection is a range of handpicked Porsche products which aim to enhance your ownership experience.

Turbo Display
Always a popular part of our National Events, we are pleased to be celebrating the 911 Turbo with a dedicated display over the three days. Look out for some early 930 variants and rare, special editions. Awards will be presented in the Club marquee at 3.30pm to acknowledge the best presented cars.

Driver Signings
Le Mans winners and Porsche ambassadors Jurgen Barth and Richard Atwood will be signing posters in the Club marquee at selected times across the festival. Jurgen will be attending signing sessions every day at 11am and 2pm, with Richard joining him on Saturday, 30th July. Posters capturing their victories will be available for members.

Swissvax National Concours
We are pleased to be hosting another National Concours, following the success of the 2015 competition at Althorp which saw over 35 members enter their cars. Cars will need to be in place by 10.30am on Sunday, 31st July, with the winners announced in the Club marquee at 3pm.

Racing
With its enviable competition heritage, a large number of Porsches will also be much in evidence among the Silverstone Classic’s unrivalled 1,000+ race entries. Both 356s and 911s always feature strongly in the major GT races while 956 and 962 enduro legends which dominated at Le Mans in the 1980s are crowd favourites in the pair of showdowns for Group C prototypes.

If you have any questions relating to the event then please don’t hesitate to contact the Clubhouse on 01608 652911.
