I'm Mike Thompson and I race the 'Clubsport' livery 986 Boxster in Class 3 for Porsche Centre Bolton. This Championship has been my first taste of competitive racing and now I'm completely addicted! 
 
Starting in 2019, I had been finishing no higher than 12th position throughout the season. After this, I had calmed my nerves and actually concentrated more on racing lines and how the car handles whilst practising for the next season.  In the 2020 and 2021 season I have been a lot more focused and consistent, generally keeping in the top 4 with a wealth of 2^nd and 3^rd place trophies. I have yet to secure a 1^st place trophy but hopefully one will come in the 2022 season. My favourite track has to be Silverstone, its a massive privilege to actually be racing on such an iconic track! If I could have any car in the world, it would have to be the 993 Turbo S. They are such a beautiful car and I don't think look to have aged.. a timeless classic!
