2018 Championship winner at Autosport Show

Mark Sumpter's 996 C2 proudly displayed on the PCGB stand

The recent Autosport International Show at the Birmingham NEC was a great success. The Porsche Club had a mix of terrific cars on its Display Stand.

In Pole Position amongst these was the Porsche 996C2 of Mark Sumpter which he used to win the 2018 Petro-Canada Lubricants Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli.

We also had the stunning Sunoco Porsche 917/30 that Porsche campaigned in the Can-Am Series in the the early 1970's. Displayed alongside was the Porsche Centre Glasgow built Restoracing Competition Boxster which has a livery inspired by the iconic 917 colour scheme.

Sam Tordoff's exceptional pre-A 356 racer was also on display. It was part of the demontration laps at the Porsche Club Festival of Porsche at Brands Hatch in September of last year, following which it competed in the Goodwood revival meeting just days later.

The Regulations and Registration Form for the Petro-Canada Lubricants Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli are now available on the website and can be found HERE.
