Our 2019 Pride of Ownership competition will take place alongside the Sale of Porsche with Silverstone Auctions at Dallas Burston Polo Club on Saturday, 21 September.
The Pride of Ownership concept, essentially a more relaxed version of Concours, arose in the mid-1990s and is firmly aimed at members that drive their cars and enjoy keeping them in excellent condition.
The format for the day will see compeitiors displaying their Porsche in a prominent position at the Polo Club. Their will be plenty of time to prepare cars after the journey and a team of knowledgeable specialists will then appraise certain accessible areas of each vehicle and allocate an overall score.
The winner will be invited to take part in the 2019 National Concours d’Elégance.
The day is expected to run as follows:
9.00am – Doors open for viewing and cars entering the Pride of Ownership arrive
10.00am – Pride of Ownership judging commences
10.30am – Automobilia auction
12.30pm – Ferrari Sale
2:30pm – Porsche Sale
