What could be more quintessentially English than a tour of the picture-postcard Cotswolds? Regardless of the season, this part of the world always looks bucolic, and whilst the summer months tend to be far busier with tourists, whatever day you choose to visit make sure to give yourself plenty of time to really savour the sights on this route.
Starting and ending in Chipping Norton - the eastern gateway to the Cotswolds - you’ll head up to Shipston-on-Stour, before heading west through Chipping Campden and Broadway (with its magnificent tower) then down to Snowshill and bustling Winchcombe.
