After a two year break, I am very happy to announce that our popular Dawn Raid on London will take place on 16th July. However, to take part in the full sunrise experience you must be in Hyde Park at 5:00am, and so be at Toddington Southbound Services at 03:45 for a prompt 04:00 departure! - Book now to avoid disappointment; we are limited to about 15 cars, unless I receive volunteer group leaders, who must be confident about navigating West and Central London.

We'll travel in convoy to arrive and park for a while in Mayfair - we’ll walk to view the sunrise from within Hyde Park, before returning to our Porsches. Driving in groups on the circuit set out in the printed route book that will be provided to you, we will cross 10 famous London Bridges, and pass many iconic London Landmarks. This is the only way to experience a largely traffic-free London. There are planned stops along the way for photos / comfort breaks, but bring your GoPros for 24 miles of great footage.

It doesn’t finish there! From 8:30 am, we’ll be joining R20 at their Sunday "Inn" the City in Lincoln's Inn Fields (WC2A 3TN).

After 5 years in East London, R20 are excited to return to the City's heart and to Lincoln's Inn Fields, the largest public square in London, for their regular 3rd Sunday FREE Porsche Breakfast meet (with plenty of breakfast options).

Swapping East End urban industrial for backdrops of 17th century historic London, with plentiful free parking, you’ll see and photograph an amazing assortment of Porsches.

Our journey will dip in and out of the ULEZ and Congestion Charge zone. However, the Congestion Charge is not payable before 12pm on a Sunday, so you will have until 11.00am or shortly after to escape it. As for ULEZ, you must check yourself whether your Porsche is compliant.

If you don’t fancy the early start, why not come along later to Lincoln’s Inn!

If you wish to take part, please reply on the Forum or WhatsApp group, AND drop a confirmation email to me at mark.grimwood1@btinternet.com

See you bright and early!!!
