Charging Port Impaired

Hi Folks, I got my Tacan 10 days ago (is a March 2023 reg) and have fallen foul of the 'Charging Port Impaired' issue I've read about on other forums. Basically my AC/DC (passenger) side port cover is faulty and may not close reliably, and if it doesn't close properly it means the other AC-only port is not accessible. So currently I only have access to the AC side.

I took it in to Porsche Cambridge and they advised it needs to come in for inspection/fix, however they don't have a loan car until early Jan :(... as this is my daily driver, and with Xmas family visits coming up, I need it for longer journeys and DC charging. I'm pushing for a better solution than 2 months wait.

Has anyone else experienced this fault?

if they can't fix quickly, reject the car.

that soon wakes the dealer principal up as they have a lot of paper work / explanations to do for rejected : returned sales.
