I was co-opted onto the Board in September 2011 and soon after made Register Director. I attended the EGM and put plans forward for Registers and ideas as to how they linked with three year planning.
First, and most importantly, I am a Porsche enthusiast and I enjoy driving . I am semi-retired, so time and commitment isn’t quite the same issue as for some. I was a Board Director of a largish company and experience over ten years taught me patience, diplomacy, how to listen and be practical as a team member.
