I was a late comer to the benefit of owning a Porsche as I acquired my first 986 Boxster S only five years ago when I semi retired after thirty years of being financial director of various public limited companies. I now have a 987 Boxster S which has already covered 15k miles. I have the pleasure of using my Porsche as an every day car and also my wife and I are enthusiast's for touring Europe, covering, over 20k miles on the continent over the last five years.

We live in the sticks on the Lancashire Pennines in a four hundred year old house that helps to keep me occupied, as it requires constant maintenance to keep from falling down. My other interests apart from now, PCGB are DIY and gardening,travelling and waterskiing and wakeboarding. Along with one of our daughters and her family we share a mastercraft ski boat, which is based at a ski club on the river Ouse in Yorkshire
